Leslie's Practice Philosophy
"I believe in establishing an environment of care that is rooted in shared decision making. You might say, what does this mean? It means that I view my role in our client provider relationship as holding space and providing education/treatment options, so that you can make a treatment decision that is best and right for you. I hope that you leave our session feeling empowered, educated, and heard. I also believe that medication isn't always the best option. When it is needed, it can be a powerful tool in your toolkit to wellness. I look forward to partnering with you as we discuss how medication may benefit your current care, as well as other holistic treatment options that are available. Again, my goal is that you feel empowered, educated, and heard."
What to Expect
Initial Visit: Your initial visit with Leslie will be 60 minutes. In this session, she will get to know you, collect your medical and psychiatric history, assess your unique individual needs, and discuss medication options if this is the best and right fit for you.
Follow-up Visit: Your follow-up visit will be 30 minutes. At this appointment, Leslie will follow-up with you on the treatment plan you created with her in the initial visit. If you started medication, she will want to know how you are doing/feeling on the medication? Has it been helpful? Are you experiencing any side effects? What are your concerns? We may make adjustments to the treatment plan/medications as needed during these appointments.
Insurance: We are considered out of network with insurance providers, but we can provide you with a superbill that you can submit for reimbursement. We do accept HSA and FSA cards.
