Meet Cathie Quillet, LMFT
Cathie Quillet is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and is the owner of both Tennessee Reproductive Therapy and Arkansas Reproductive Therapy, as well as SheBlooms, a division of Tennessee Reproductive Therapy that offers counseling services to empower teen girls and young women as they bloom into the next version of themselves.
Cathie began working as a therapist in 2005 while completing her Master’s at Western Seminary in California. Before specializing in reproductive and maternal mental health, Cathie worked as a generalist, treating individuals and couples through various life stages. Cathie is trained by Postpartum Support International, a member of Resolve, and a trained member of the American Association of Reproductive Medicine.
Cathie’s motivation for specializing in reproductive and maternal mental health was her own story of infertility, recurrent miscarriage, barrenness, and international adoption. During her difficult journey to parent fifteen years ago, Cathie observed a lack of emphasis on the mental health of those going through their reproductive journey. Cathie decided then that she wanted to be a part of the change, first specializing in reproductive and maternal mental health and then starting two practices to help women and their partners feel less alone, more supported and equipped for parenthood.
Prior to moving to Tennessee, Cathie spent a decade in Ohio where she moved after spending her first years in California. Cathie became a mom (by way of adoption) in Ohio, welcoming two boys home from Ethiopia. Raising a son with an autism spectrum disorder has taught Cathie the importance of valuing each family’s story and the intricacies of each relationship.
Cathie considers it an honor and a privilege to be welcomed into your story.
